Prices are lower than the other convenience store in Alpena. Only downfall is they close by 10pm.
The gas station is kept clean and tidy. Additionally, they make a variety of hot food (not just pizza); however, that not why I go here.
Pumps weren't accepting cards and the stalls are very very narrow. Weren't prepared for the Sunday crowd after Thanksgiving. The attendant was competent and clearly in need of another pair if hands, and did her best to accommodate a very nasty crowd.
To top it off. Only one pump works right.
The woman at the counter is rude, she tried to charge us 20 dollars for 10 bucks of gas...
Also, I would just like to respond to some reviews complaining about "thieving", if you saw someone get punched in the face do you go home and make a review about that on Google, too? No! You inform someone whether it's the police or call the store # during morning hours when a owner/manager is likely to be present. You don't enable them by ignoring it while it happens and leave a review about a nameless employee...
... guess its what we get for wanting to fill up before we got on the highway
Great food and excellant staffing.
They carry this energy drink, only one in the area, called 'Cocaine'. Don't let the name scare you. It comes in a red 8oz can and it tastes like drinking a red cream soda with a hint of Big Red gum- so yummy!
